South Sea Seafood Village

1420 Irving (at 15th Ave.)
San Francisco, CA 94122
665-8210
Website
Truly exceptional Hong Kong style Cantonese cuisine, in a glitzy, Hong Kong-style setting. Though there are pricey dishes (especially on the order-ahead menu, as well as the shark fin and abalone dishes available anytime), the tariff is actually quite reasonable for such knowing, fresh fare. Besides the seafood in its title, there's a wide array of excellent meat, fowl, and vegetable dishes (over 150 dishes on the main menu, plus another page of seasonal specialties). Extensive dim sum menu, featuring 14 different teas.
