A midsize, brick-walled venue that hosts a variety of underground rock, metal, hip-hop, and reggae bands. It's not only one of the few live music clubs in a neighborhood dominated by DJ discotheques, it's also one of the best places in the city for underage music fans to catch bands on the way up.

Overall:

The Party Fouls performance at Slims this Friday night left the crowd wanting more, and set a high bar for the Party Fouls as they hit the studio and continue playing shows.

As you would expect, the set list included their myspace hits plastic vagina and chocolate sunflowers. Some were disappointed that sexy otter and in the rain were left out of the set. However, the set carried tremendous energy and captivated the audience despite including no covers.

The music was great but of course, the fun of the show was the energy of the crowd and the Party Fouls feeding off of one another. The venue becomes a big club and, aside from everyone facing one direction, looks like a fun, erupting dance floor.

Oscar Alulema brought to the show his amazing guitar skills and precise solos. Jorge Garibaldi took control of the audience with his stage presence: crawling on stage during plastic vagina and finally taking off his shirt during the encore.

The Slims show has shown that the Party Fouls trajectory is bound to expand, hopefully exponentially with the release of their album. Everyone was left wanting more.

Overall:

I've seen Zanzibar at Pena Pachamama and at the Carnaval and they are awesome! Definitely a fun band...
