rooms are great, staff is great. you can actually stay here for not that much $$$

Wonderful location, just for that I love it. On the edge of China Town, nice short walk down to the bay. People make the difference at this location, I know it's the Ritz, but here they go out of their way to assisting you to enjoy your stay even more. Ask for Ruth at the lobby bar, she'll take care of you and give a good conversation on life and things in general. If you're going to San Fran... def stay here -
I dont always have a great experience in a lofty hotel chain even if it is The Ritz but this location is not only beautiful and located in an ideal location but spacious, extremely attentive in service and epitomizes the idea of comfort. Its also not as pricey as you might think.
