Ducca

50 Third Street
(at Market)
San Francisco, CA 94103
977-0271
Website
Located in the newly renovated Westin Hotel just off Market, Ducca offers top-notch Italian cooking inspired by the Veneto (the region around Venice), in a formal dining room accented with Murano glass chandeliers and a lovely patio (open for lunch). Best dishes include the cichetti (Venetian bar snacks), top-notch salumi (cured meats), and assorted Italian cheeses. Pastas and secondi (meat courses) can be a little heavy. Superb desserts. - Meredith Brody

The Inside Word on Ducca

    Good food. Ambiance is nice.

I found this place off recommendations here inside LikeMe and oh it didn't disappoint. I ordered the wild potato gnocchi, which was mixed with spinach and fresh cherries and wow. The atmosphere is interesting too - good vibe. I didn't sit outside, but they had fire pits with seats around it - looked like a fun place to have a drink with friends.

Friday night is Italian movie night on the outdoor patio in the summer time. My recommendation: eat an appetizer on the patio (they don't serve dinner out there) and then head inside for dinner.
