Arlequin Cafe

384 Hayes
(at Gough)
San Francisco, CA 94102
415-626-1211
This charming small cafe, sister to fancy Absinthe down the street, has an especially pleasant large outdoor garden space with tree-shaded tables tucked behind it. There’s good chow all day long, from house-baked pastries to lovely sandwiches, homemade soups, and moist roast chicken. It’s close to Davies Hall and the Opera House for before-event meals. Good for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up, take-out, or a full meal, and very nice for brunch: there’s something for everyone.
