Then gird your loins and head over to ShoeBox Studio, an inviting SOMA dance space that accommodates harried schedules by offering weekend and evening classes. Whether you have tons of rhythm or two left feet, ShoeBox is just the place to dispense with your inhibitions and get moving. The dance offerings include capoeira, fusion belly dance, hip-hop, and salsa. If you want to improve your flexibility and strength, check out the Pilates and yoga classes (Pilates is only $5 on Saturday mornings). After dancing or twisting out your daily stresses, you can lounge around the studio living room and talk shop with your teachers and fellow danseurs.
